AIS Sunday challenge: Untried colour combination

Hi lovelies,

I decided to take part in the Adventures of Stamping's Sunday challenge this week. The theme was untried/odd colour combination.
Colorbar Bloo My Day and ChG Glistening Snow stamped with MdU Orange using MoYou Pro XL 23 and Bornpretty star studs
I used Colorbar Bloo My Day, a teal blue creme, from its Quick Finish Range as the base for ring and middle fingers. China Glaze Glistening Snow, an awesome silver holographic micro glitter, was the base for my ring finger and pinkie.

I then used Mundo De Unhas Orange to stamp these pretty flowers from MouYou London Pro XL 23 plate. I used neon blue and neon orange (yes, they are orange. My camera freaked out and turned them yellow) from Bornpretty store to jazz up the manicure.
The stars are extremely cute. I got it from the store when they recently had a discount on nail art studs.
If you liked this, don't forget to leave a comment below :) Until next time, ciao!

#TGPNPC Dirtiest Named Polish: Day 37 of The Neverending Pile Challenge

Hi lovelies,

This prompt called for the Dirtiest Named Polish but I don't own any :( The only one 'dirty' enough in my collection was Colorbar Rust Lust. Then, there is Colorbar Flirt.
Colorbar Flirt stamped with Color Club Cosmic Fate
It is quite sad that with a name like Flirt, this pinky peach nude creme is just another granny colour. I had actually chosen this for the granny colour prompt till I realised that I did not have any other polish that sounded naughty, forget dirty :P

I used Color Club Cosmic Fate, a peach holo, to stamp a flower web pattern from XL plate on it. And voila, the nail art proved to be an equal flirt, hiding in the shadows and showing its full glory when the light hit. Just check out the flare in the holo!

My favourite turned out to be the thumb which clearly shows the flower pattern.

Hope you liked it :)

AIS: Yellow base

Hi lovelies,

Some of you might know that I am a member of Adventures in Stamping, a stampaholics group on Facebook. They have a challenge for every Sunday, and this week, it was doing nail art on a yellow base.
Since yellow is a colour I do not use regularly, I thought it was a good idea to meet the challenge.
Colorbar Sun Blaze stamped with BM 206 using MdU White

I used Colorbar Sun Blaze, a bright buttery yellow, from the Quick Finish range as my base. As with most yellows, this one was streaky despite all my careful ministrations. But when I added a coat of Wet N Wild Kaleidoscope -- a clear base filled with holo micro glitters, to add some sparkle, the polish levelled out.
And then, I went ahead and smudged by middle finger real bad. So, I layered a coat of Color Club Gingerbread, a gold-based holo glitter to cover up my mistake.

Since it was a stamping challenge, I used the flower buds image from BM 206 and stamped with Mundo De Unas White. This toned down the 'yellowness' of the polish, and made it more wearable for me :)
How did you like this manicure? Don't forget to drop a line.

Indian Independence Day

Hi lovelies,

I'll make this short and sweet. This is the manicure I did to celebrate India's 68th Independence Day on Friday, August 15.

The base is Faces White Knight, a silver beige matte polish, on which I stamped with Mundo De Unas Green, Orange and Papyrus (a light cream).

I used two stamps from BundleMonster 406 plate for this design.I used my new neon orange (I know my camera freaked out) and neon green studs from Born Pretty Store to jazz it up a bit.
I also submitted it to Indian Lacquer Lovers on Facebook where nail bloggers have put up their creations to celebrate the Indian Independence Day.
