#TGPNPC Skittles: Day 19 of the Neverending Pile Challenge

Hi lovelies,

If you follow my blog you'll know about my love for greens, blues and purple, so it was natural that I would pick one of those colours for an ombre skittles.
Green won and I ended up with a look that could have easily fit an Irish manicure challenge.

Colorbar Apple Martini, Faces Teal, China Glaze Emerald Sparkle, K B Shimmer Get Clover It and Revlon Emerald City
From thumb to pointer, we have Colorbar Apple Martini, Faces Teal, China Glaze Emerald Sparkle, K B Shimmer Get Clover It and Revlon Emerald City.

I stamped small and large Clover leaf designs from Winstonia plate W105 using Color Club Cosmic Fate.

I was mesmerised by this manicure. How could I not? It's green :D Hope you liked it too.

#TGPNPC Discontinued: Day 18 of the Neverending Pile Challenge

Hi lovelies,

I consider myself still new to the nail polish world, so I do not own branded discontinued polishes. Though I do have an indie, which was a limited edition polish, and one of the two polishes that pushed me into buying indies. Presenting: Different Dimension (bir)Earthday!
Different Dimension (bir)Earthday

Missi Barry, the creator, described (bir)earthday as a navy jelly base with loads of glitter in different shapes and sizes! There are green and blue huge circular holographic glitters, big blue holographic squares and lots of other random glitters - all in the colors of the earth!
Different Dimension (bir)Earthday

Missi had put out just 50 bottles on sale. And she named it (bir)eathday to celebrate her birthday (4/22) which happens to fall on Earth Day! This is three coats of the polish, with Seche Vite top coat. Though it is still sheer, I love the jelly effect. Next time maybe, I'll layer it over another polish.
Different Dimension (bir)Earthday

Check out its bling factor! I loooove this polish. What about you? Do not forget to leave a comment.

#TGPNPC Giveaway/Blog Sale Polish: Day 17 of the Neverending Pile Challenge

Hi lovelies,

I am back from my vacation to Kerala, truly God's Own Country! So, while I kept up with the challenges for #TGPNPC, I was unable to post due to my travel schedule. Here's presenting Blog Sale Polish: NYX Multi Glitter.

NYX Multi Glitter over Colorbar black Exclusive 76
It is a super duper cheap version of the famous Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday polish. As the name suggests it is a mix of small and chunky hex glitters in gold, silver, orange, light blue, green, magenta and red in a clear base. I created a glitter gradient with it over Colobar Exclusive 76, a creme black. I topped it with SV. One coat was all it took to smoothen out the glitters.

NYX Multi Glitter over Colorbar black Exclusive 76
This was one of the first polishes I bought when I discovered the world of nail art. I had no idea about cherryculture, beautyjoint and other sites which stock such polishes :)
NYX Multi Glitter over Colorbar black Exclusive 76 topped with OPI matte top coat
The glitter and Seche Vite top coat was making the whole look too shiny, so I mattified it using OPI top coat. And, I totally loved it! What about you?

#TGPNPC Texture: Day 16 of Neverending Pile Challenge

Hi lovelies,
I used the striping tape art for this manicure. The gorgeous texture polish featured here is OPI Honey Ryder, a light gold texture from its Bond Girls collection, and Faces Matte Savita.
I love the way this manicure came together. The gold looks beautiful on my dusky skin and contrasted awesomely with the matte blurple.
The purple is Faces Matte Savita. Yep, You heard it right. It has been named after it's inspiration:  Zoya Savita, a shimmery matte blurple. Since I have both I might do a comparison once I am back Home.
Here's another look. Most people liked the design on my pointer finger. What about You? Don't forget to leave a comment below :)

#TGPNPC Glow In The Dark: Day 15 of the Neverending Pile Challenge

Hi lovelies,

No. The first photograph is not blank. It is my poor attempt at clicking a GITD Polish.

If you look carefully you will see the faint glow where my nails are. I got this from bornprettystore and do not remember its name.

Since it was a light green jelly, I layered it over another similar green colour. This is how it looked in sunlight.

Above is how it looked indoors. I liked the colour and its strong glow in real life.

#TGPNPC Holo: Day 14 of Neverending Pile Challenge

Hi lovelies,

I have accumulated a lot of scattered and linear holographic polishes but haven't worn many. So, here's cutting the count by 1.
This is Jade Fascinio Violeta, a violet linear holographic polish. It has an awesome holographic curve. I painted at the beginning of the challenge when my nails were in a bad shape due to the crazy weather. So do forgive me for the frayed and injured cuticles.
Since this polish is thin and I was in no mood to layer it 4-5 times before it turned opaque, I layered it over a nameless violet creme. I bought the Jade polish from Ninjapolish.com a long time ago, but never got around to wearing it.

Sorry for the awkward hand positions. I was trying to show off the holo-ness of the polish.

P.S. I have been a good girl so far in keeping up with the TGPNPC challenges, but I have to leave for a 15-day trip. While I will continue doing my nail art, I am not sure if I will be able to post anything. It all depends on internet connectivity. However, I promise to come back and post the pictures as soon as possible. Or instagram them.
Cheers!
Jade Fascinio Violeta

#TGPNPC Vampy: Day 13 of the Neverending Pile Challenge

Hi lovelies,

I managed to use two unused polishes for the Vampy challenge: Violet Divine from Revlon StreetWear's Shine Divine range, and Chunky Holo Black from Kleancolor to create this look.

Violet Divine is a dark eggplant purple creme. The first coat is a little streaky, and two coats will do the trick if you apply it carefully.

Sorry for the underwater look :P. Mercury touched 45°C and my topcoat began bubbling like crazy.
Here's another shot of the creme.

Then, I layered Chunky Holo Black over it. Though named so, there is nothing black or holo about this polish. It actually has a murky brown base with large and medium green-orange duochrome glitters.
The Kleancolor covered the eggplant base completely! I just could not stop looking at my nails. Just check out the duochrome in this picture.

Though it contains chunky glitter, I just needed one coat of Seche Vite to make it smooth. I was captivated by this look despite all the polish trouble I had due to the crazy hot weather here.

#TGPNPC Use as many untried in one manicure: Day 12 of the Neverending Pile Challenge

Hi lovelies,

Today's manicure is about cramming as many untrieds in one. My manicure could easily have stood for the theme: metallics. How many polishes I used for this -- 17 (pats my back)!!!
Use as many untried in one manicure: Colorbar Metallic Nail Lacquer
The base for the manicure are metallic polishes from the new Colorbar Metallic range and one from the Quick Finish Range. (Sorry for the fuzz on my pointer. I noticed it only while processing the pics by which time it was too late to change anything).

I painted my nails half and half. Listed here are polishes -- first left then right. All polishes needed just one coat (except for the silver):
Pinky finger: Bejewelled (metallic hot pink) and Mammamia (metallic hot red)
Ring finger: Pink Smith (coppery pink) and Red Diamond (coppery red)
Middle finger: Silver Lining (silver) and Haute Copper (this name is deceiving. It looks more like olive green)
Pointer: Blue Thunder (light blue) and Starry Knight (dark blue)
Thumb: Green Bling (green) and (damn! I'll get back to you on this forest green) from their Quick Finish Range.
Another look at Many Untried polishes
This picture makes the difference in polishes on the pinky and ring finger clear. I wasn't very neat as I was planning to put another stripe down the middle.
#tgpnpc Use as many untried in one manicure: Colorbar, Zoya, Deborah Milano, Revlon, Faces, Cuccio polish with stamping
For the middle stripes, I used the following polishes which are matte in texture:
Pinky finger: Zoya Harlow (purple rose matte) on Colorbar Bejewelled and Colorbar Red Diamond
Ring finger: Deborah Milano Sense Tech no 09 (greyish brown matte) on Colorbar Pink Smith and Colorbar Mammamia
Middle finger: Colorbar Treasure (metallic gold) on Colorbar Silver Lining and Colorbar Haute Copper Pointer: Cuccio Cobalt Blue (a shimmery dark blue matte) on Colorbar Blue Thunder and Colorbar Starry Knight
Thumb: Faces Canada Green Matte (shimmery green matte) and Colorbar Green Bling and Colorbar (damn! I'll get back to you on this one) from their Quick Finish Range.
#tgpnpc Use as many untried: Colorbar Green Bling, Faces Canada matte, Revlon Golden and stamped with
China Glaze Passion
I stamped all the nails down the middle with flower, criss cross and feather patterns on my from XL plate R. I lined them on each side with Revlon Golden from their Fast Dry range and an unnamed bright pink (middle finger).
Polishes used for Many Untrieds
These are all the polishes I used. Phew!!! How did I do? Those who saw my nails liked the design on the middle finger the most, and the colour combinations on the pinky, ring and thumb. What about you? Do leave a comment below.
