My first award.... and more

I know, I know. This is my second post in a day. But after reading through, even you will agree that it deserved a post of its own. After all, I had to thank all the lovely and generous bloggers who graced me with their awards. YAAAAAYYYY!!!!

And THANK YOU Shilpa Gandotra for giving me my first award. Take a look at her blog at Our External World.

This award comes with a set of rules:
  • Put a link to who gave you the award.
  • Put the award on your post.
  • Choose 5 blogs with under 200 followers to receive the award.
  • Let them know you awarded them.

So, this post will be modified as soon as I identify such bloggers.

My second award is from Niesha of Indian Beauty Forever. Thank you sweetheart for such an honour :)

The third is a Lovely Blog Award from Shilpa Gandotra of Our External World again. Thank you for your encouragement.

I feel so blessed and so privileged to have gained such kind and appreciating friends in the blogosphere. Thank you all once again!

Missing in action

Hi lovelies,

First, let me apologise for disappearing without warning. I was on a well-deserved break and the last thing on my mind was to step into cyberworld. It was my first vacation in four years, and my destination was Bangalore.

After the hot and humid weather of Ahmedabad, Bangalore's cool climes was a blessed relief. The second I landed back, I felt I had been slammed back by the heat. My body was still tuned to Bangalore weather :P But I am glad to be back in Ahmedabad as I was missing my buddies terribly.

I had lots of fun. I hope you had too during this period. I have lots of posts in waiting. Will update you guys soon :) For now, here is a view of the Sabarmati from atop Patang Hotel. If you guys ever visit Ahmedabad, please do visit this hotel. The food is okay but the view is to die for. And do you know its USP? It is a REVOLVING hotel!!! Have you ever been to one?

Take a look:

As you eat your food, the platform revolves to give you a 360 degree view of Ahmedabad.  This, of course, is from the tinted air-conditioned confines of the restaurant. Believe me when I say you would be fried if you were standing outside :) Once the Sabarmati riverfront project is completed, this is going to be one awesome sight! What say?
